JOB PURPOSE
To maintain accurate and complete financial records, process daily financial transactions, and assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. The Accountant ensures compliance with company financial policies, applicable accounting standards, and tax regulations while supporting effective financial management and timely financial reporting.
KEY RESPOSIBILITIES
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledgers, journals, and supporting documents.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, and other financial accounts regularly.
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records for audit purposes.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing the required financial documents and explanations.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and internal control procedures.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and prepare necessary adjusting entries.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of Relevant Experience
Required Skills and Competencies
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of applicable tax regulations and accounting standards.
