Role Overview
The Threat Monitoring Lead will play a key role in supporting Accenture’s security intelligence and operations capabilities by monitoring and assessing security threats that may impact our people and business operations.
Working closely with the Intelligence Team, Security Operations Centers (SOCs), security stakeholders and leadership, this role will monitor emerging and ongoing events such as severe weather, political instability, crime, terrorism, civil unrest, and other developments that could affect Accenture personnel or operations.
The role will be regionally aligned, with colleagues based in the United States, India and EMEA, and will report to the Associate Director responsible for Intelligence and Analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead threat monitoring activities for Global Protection & Security (GP&S) within an assigned region.
- Monitor and assess emerging security threats and significant events that may affect Accenture people or business operations.
- Provide timely, relevant threat information and notifications to key stakeholders, including Regional Protective Services, Executive Protection and Intelligence teams.
- Serve as a key liaison between the Security Operations Center and the GP&S Intelligence team, supporting effective information sharing and coordination.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of threat monitoring procedures, protocols and ways of working.
- Train and guide colleagues on established monitoring processes to support consistent coverage, escalation and communication.
- Prepare clear and concise situational updates, reports and, when required, briefings for GP&S leadership.
- Collaborate across teams and geographies to support an effective and coordinated response to evolving security developments.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience providing real-time threat monitoring, intelligence or related security support within a military, intelligence, law enforcement, government or corporate security environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Security Studies, Intelligence, or a related field.
- Experience monitoring and assessing security developments in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to assess complex or rapidly evolving information and communicate its relevance clearly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of physical security principles and the global threat environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience using threat monitoring and/or emergency communication platforms such as Factal, SamDesk, Everbridge, International SOS, or comparable tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Forms.
- Relevant language proficiency aligned with the region supported.
- Ability to occasionally work outside regular business hours and on weekends when operational requirements demand.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal training in intelligence analysis, analytic writing or intelligence tradecraft.
- Experience preparing intelligence assessments, situational reports or leadership briefings.
- Experience supporting security operations, intelligence functions or crisis response in a multinational or geographically dispersed organization.
- Experience working across regional or global teams and communicating with stakeholders at different levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork in a professional environment.
