Arab Consulting Engineers (Moharram – Bakhoum) is seeking an experienced Planning Engineering Manager to join our team and lead planning and scheduling activities across major engineering and construction projects.
Job Responsibilities:Lead and manage the Planning Department and oversee all planning and scheduling activities.
Develop, review, and monitor project baseline schedules and master programs.
Oversee project progress, identify delays, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor project performance against approved schedules and contractual milestones.
Review and analyze contractors' and subcontractors' schedules.
Prepare and review progress reports, S-curves, resource plans, and performance dashboards.
Conduct critical path analysis and assess the impact of delays and variations.
Coordinate with project management, technical, construction, and other departments.
Ensure effective resource allocation and compliance with project deadlines.
Provide strategic planning support and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
15+ years of experience in planning and project controls within engineering consultancy or construction projects.
Proven experience in managing and leading planning teams.
Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and project control techniques.
Excellent proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
Strong experience in delay analysis, claims, and critical path methodology.
Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
Previous experience with large-scale and mega projects is highly preferred.
