DATA ANALYST

The Data & Sales Analyst will be responsible for analysing business, sales and market data to support commercial decision-making and improve business performance. The role works closely with Sales teams, management and key stakeholders to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.

The position also involves developing reports, dashboards and data-driven systems, improving existing processes, and transforming complex datasets into meaningful insights that support business growth and operational efficiency

• Analyse sales, customer, product and market data to identify trends, gaps, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Work closely with Sales teams to provide analytical support, guidance and insights to improve business performance.
• Create, develop and maintain sales reports, dashboards and business intelligence solutions.
• Develop and improve reporting systems and data solutions to meet business requirements.
• Consolidate, extract and analyse data from multiple external sources and business systems.
• Present     findings,     performance     reports     and     actionable                    recommendations                to management and stakeholders.
• Support sales planning, forecasting and performance monitoring.
• Analyse commercial performance to identify opportunities for growth and improved business outcomes.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by investigating discrepancies and resolving reporting issues.
• Automate and streamline reporting processes to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to innovate and improve business processes through data, technology and system development.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure data insights are translated into practical business actions.

• Relevant degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Commerce or a related field.
• Previous experience in data analytics, sales analytics, business intelligence or a similar role.
• Microsoft Excel – Intermediate to Advanced (Essential): Strong practical knowledge of formulas, lookups, pivot tables, data manipulation and analysis of large datasets.
• Microsoft Power BI – Intermediate: Ability to develop, maintain and improve interactive dashboards, reports and data visualizations.
• Experience working with large datasets and consolidating information from multiple sources.

• Experience with sales, commercial or market data will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with Sales teams, management and stakeholders.
• A proactive, commercially minded and solution-oriented approach to developing reporting solutions and improving business systems.
