As a Backend Engineer, you will work on the Fresco KitchenOS, building platform capabilities and supporting production operations. You will develop reliable and scalable backend services in Python, participate in the overall application lifecycle, and execute cloud-to-cloud integrations with new partners. Missions
- Concevoir et développer des services backend fiables et évolutifs en Python pour des dispositifs IoT et des clients mobiles.
- Participer à l'ensemble du cycle de vie de l'application, y compris l'intégration avec de nouveaux partenaires.
- Assurer la surveillance de la plateforme et être de garde pour la plateforme, en respectant un calendrier de rotation.
Profil recherché
- 3+ years building backend services in Python- Observability: structured logging, distributed tracing (Datadog or equivalent)
- You ship faster because of AI, not despite learning it. Code gen, debugging, log analysis, test scaffolding - you've replaced slow loops with AI-assisted ones
- Fluent in English; clear communicator with both technical peers and less-technical stakeholders
- AWS Lambda + CDK in production - not just familiarity
- Strong grasp of event-driven architecture: EventBridge, SQS/SNS, async patterns

- Comfortable with: Pydantic v2, SQLModel/Alembic, DynamoDB/PynamoDB, Valkey, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- AWS IoT Core experience a strong plus
- Testing: BDD (Behave/Gherkin), pytest, moto for AWS mocking
