Position OverviewAddoz Integrated Resources is recruiting on behalf of a client for the role of Merchandiser. The successful candidate will be proactive, well organized, and customer oriented, and will play a key part in strengthening product visibility, availability, and sales performance.
The Merchandiser will oversee product displays, keep track of stock visibility, visit retail outlets, and ensure the client's products are presented appropriately to shoppers.

- Make sure the client's products are displayed correctly and arranged neatly in retail outlets.
- Track product availability and flag any low stock situations.
- Visit shops, supermarkets, and distributors to verify product visibility and presentation.
- Confirm that products carry the right labels and are displayed in an attractive manner.
- Keep an eye on rival products, pricing, and promotional campaigns.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with retailers and distributors.
- Spot opportunities to strengthen product visibility and the company's presence in the market.
- Provide routine reports covering stock levels, market activity, and competitor observations.
- Assist with promotional activities and sales initiatives.
- Ensure all product displays comply with company standards.
- OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 2 years of merchandising experience, ideally gained in manufacturing, FMCG, or retail.
- Solid communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- Keen attention to detail, with the capacity to monitor stock and product displays.
- Familiarity with the Lagos market is considered an advantage.
