Adobe is an American software company founded in 1982 by John Warnock and Charles Geschke and headquartered in San Jose, California. It created the PostScript and PDF formats and built the industry-standard creative toolset around Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects and InDesign, now delivered as the Creative Cloud subscription. The company also runs Document Cloud for electronic signatures and document workflows, Experience Cloud for enterprise marketing analytics and personalisation, and the commercially safe Firefly family of generative AI models.

What You’ll Do

  • Editorial strategy, storytelling and writing: Support Adobe’s evolving editorial strategy by helping identify story ideas, build narratives and draft and edit articles, talking points, briefing documents and pitch materials composed for maximum impact across channels, with mentoring and feedback along the way
  • Media research, pitching and relationship building: Build reporter and outlet profiles, help draft and track pitches and support the team’s engagement with journalists, editors, and producers by prepping for briefings, taking notes and keeping our media list and interaction tracking up to date
  • Help monitor media coverage and contribute to our daily coverage report. Flag trends and themes that inform our media and editorial approach.
  • Your own project: Over the summer, manage a small task such as performing a media landscape review, establishing AI-powered workflows, or developing an editorial strategy. Present your findings to the team at the internship's conclusion.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Currently enrolled full time and pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field. Graduation is expected between December 2027 and June 2028.
  • Ability to participate in a full time internship between May and September 2027
  • Strong writing and editing skills with excellent attention to detail, ideally with a sense of editorial voice and storytelling
  • Genuine interest in storytelling, media, technology and business
  • Solid research skills and the ability to synthesize information quickly
  • Organization and flexibility to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities while taking feedback well
