We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will support the project management team in coordinating and facilitating continuous integration initiatives, ensuring smooth collaboration between development and operations teams. You will play a key part in maintaining project timelines, documentation, and process efficiency while gaining valuable experience in CI/CD environments and agile project management.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating CI/CD pipeline projects and initiatives
- Support the project manager in tracking project progress, milestones, and deliverables
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, status reports, and meeting notes
- Coordinate communication between development teams, operations, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on CI objectives
- Monitor and track CI tool configurations, build processes, and deployment activities
- Assist in identifying and resolving project bottlenecks and process inefficiencies
- Support the implementation of continuous integration best practices and standards
- Prepare and distribute project status updates and performance metrics
- Assist in onboarding team members to CI processes and tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
- Maintain organized project files, schedules, and resource allocation records
- 3 + years of experience in project coordination, assistant project management, or related role
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and continuous integration practices
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and development environments
- Experience with at least one CI tool (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar)
- Proficiency with version control systems (Git, SVN, or equivalent)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Preferred: Experience with automation tools and DevOps practices
- Preferred: Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar)
- Preferred: Basic understanding of software testing and quality assurance processes
