Internship Marketing Communications Assistant

Job Description

• Support the planning and execution of marketing and communication campaigns.
• Create engaging content for social media platforms, websites, newsletters and marketing materials.
• Assist in designing marketing collateral such as brochures, posters, presentations and digital advertisements.
• Manage and schedule social media posts while monitoring audience engagement.
• Proficient in Mandarin, both written and spoken as requires communication with Mandarin speaking clients from China.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and marketing opportunities.
• Assist in organizing company events, exhibitions, webinars and promotional activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors for marketing projects.
• Help maintain the company's website and digital marketing assets.
• Capture photos and videos during company events for marketing purposes.
• Monitor campaign performance and prepare basic marketing reports.
• Perform administrative and other marketing-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration, Multimedia, Graphic Design or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
• Creative mindset with an interest in branding, digital marketing and content creation.
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Xionghongshu and YouTube.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of design tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or Adobe Premiere Pro is an added advantage.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts including email marketing and social media marketing is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good interpersonal skills and a professional work ethic.
