AIA is a pan-Asian life insurance group founded in Shanghai in 1919 that operated for decades as the Asian arm of the American insurer AIG before being separated and listed in Hong Kong in 2010. It sells life, health, accident and savings products across eighteen markets in Asia Pacific, distributing largely through a tied agency force of hundreds of thousands of agents rather than brokers, which gives it unusual control over sales quality and customer relationships. Headquartered in Hong Kong and reporting in United States dollars, it is one of the largest listed life insurers in the world by market value.

At AIA we’ve started an exciting movement to create a healthier, more sustainable future for everyone.

It’s about finding new ways to not only better people's lives, but to better the communities and environments we live in. Encompassing our ambition of helping a billion people live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives by 2030.
