Our organization is embarking on a massive digital transformation journey: the E&C ALign Program. By 2027, we aim to deliver a globally integrated digital system for E&C. A core component of this transformation includes migrating our engineering design suite from SmartPlant to AVEVA, alongsidethe deployment of a new ERP system (Sap/4Hana) and a Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) tool.We are seeking a Product Portfolio Architect to act as the Coordinator during the critical Design, Build & Deployment phases of the E&C ALign Program. This role ensures that the technical specifications provided to our System Integrators (SIs) are cohesive across our four domains (Project
Management, Engineering, Sales&Technologies, and Manufacturing/OT) and that the resulting architecture is robust, scalable, and fully maintainable when handed over to the DDS InnoTech for "Run Mode." The Product Portfolio Architect will also be acting for the harmonization of the business applications within InnoTech perimeter, and the initiation of the related projects.
1. Manage Cross-Domain Digital Solutions roadmaps
Bridging the E&C ALign program and the InnoTech Core Business Domains.
Ensure with the Integration and Architecture team the overall architecture compliance and coherency.
Contribute to review and harmonize specifications sent to the System Integrator, ensuring that integrations between the new AVEVA suite, the ERP, and existing tools create a seamless "Digital Thread”.
2. Ensure the Maintainability & Operational Readiness of the portfolio
Ensure that the integrated solutions being built in the Align Program are manageable, supportable, and cost-effective for the Core Business Domains team post-Go-Live.Execute the handover strategy from the project phase to the operational phase, including support models (processes and SLAs definitions), licensing considerations, and internal IT upskilling.
Identify and mitigate technical debts or over-customizations proposed by System Integrators or E&C Business representatives that could complicate the “run” phase and/or future software upgrades.
3. Secure DDS delivery to the Align Program
Manage Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Work in a matrixed environment under the guidance of the E&C ALign IT Project Manager and the E&C ALign Design Authority to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope. Collaborate with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and the Design Authority to ensure the technical
architecture actually supports the targeted "One E&C Mindset" global processes, and that the business requirements are not exceeding the actual needs. Apply Product Management principles to the integrated EPC toolset, treating the overarching IT ecosystem as a holistic product delivering end-to-end value. Liaise with the Architecture Director, the Head of the Core Business Domains, the EPC Program Director, the transversal services Director and DDS VP.
4. Rationalize the Digital Solutions portfolio @ InnoTech
Serve as the forward-looking integration lead to prepare for driving the strategic harmonization of IT applications when relevant.
Assess opportunities for consolidation, cost savings, and standardization with Domain Managers and Product Managers.

Are you a MATCH?
Senior Leadership in IT: 7+ years of experience in IT, with a strong background in heading digital products or acting as a Product Owner for internal enterprise suites. Large-Scale Transformations: Proven track record of playing a lead technical or integration role in large, multi-year IT transformation programs (ERP deployments, PLM implementations, etc.).
EPC Industry Expertise: Understanding of the EPC asset lifecycle.
Toolchain Knowledge: Familiarity with the complexities of migrating complex engineering data environments; specific experience with AVEVA (E3D, AVEVA Engineering) and/or Hexagon SmartPlant Suite is highly preferred.
Integration Fluency: Experience overseeing complex data integrations between Engineering design tools, Project Controls/Scheduling (e.g., Primavera), and Tier-1 ERPs (e.g., SAP). Matrix Agility: Exceptional ability to lead by influence, managing the natural tension between aggressive project delivery goals and long-term IT stability.
