With the global financial technology market expected to grow gradually, we aim to make stock trading accessible for millennials through our mobile-first approach. In 2022, we opened our new head office in the Indonesia Stock Exchange Building, and we’re just getting started!

At Ajaib, we are on a mission to revolutionize investment in Indonesia by making it accessible and simple for everyone. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Customer Insights Intern to join to our team. This role will be supporting end-to-end research projects across investment products and customer segments. You will have balanced role across research & insight and research operations.

Requirements

• Final-year student or recent graduate from relevant fields
• Comfortable working with data using Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English
• Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability
• Comfortable working with research documentation, data tabulation, and research-related operational tracking

• Strong interest in consumer behavior, customer insight, market research, and data analysis
• Curious about financial markets, investment behavior, and how users make financial decisions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of research methodologies, both quantitative and qualitative, is a plus
• Familiarity with survey tools, statistical tools, SQL, or data analysis tools is a plus
• Curious about how AI tools can improve research efficiency, analysis, and insight generation

Job Descriptions

• Support end-to-end research execution, including participant recruitment, screening, scheduling, and appointment coordination, output documentation.
• Create and manage participant screeners based on research requirements
• Identify, prioritize, and coordinate users based on relevant customer segments and research criteria
• Support survey deployment, respondent review, and basic survey quality checks

• Assist in understanding customer behavior, needs, pain points, motivations, and product usage
• Support the development of research reports, dashboards, presentations, and other research outputs
• Support competitive and market research to understand market trends and competitive dynamics
