Quality Controller

Role Purpose

To inspect serviced vehicles, verify the quality of repairs and maintenance, and ensure that all work meets company and manufacturer standards before vehicles are returned to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that workshop quality assurance procedures are followed.
• Inspect serviced vehicles to confirm that repairs and maintenance meet the required quality standards.
• Conduct vehicle road tests to verify performance, safety, and repair effectiveness.
• Record inspection and road-test results accurately.
• Identify defects, incomplete repairs, or recurring technical issues and coordinate corrective action with the relevant team.
• Support Service Advisors and Technicians in resolving technical concerns and ensuring timely vehicle delivery.
• Help maintain the Fix It Right First Time ratio by ensuring repairs are completed correctly before vehicle handover.
• Collect and maintain accurate information on work completed, updating relevant job cards and repair orders.
• Ensure workshop work areas remain clean and organized.
• Assist with the calibration, servicing, and maintenance of workshop equipment.
• Support other workshop activities as required.
• Follow company health, safety, and quality procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Workshop Supervisor or Service Manager.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in automotive quality control, vehicle inspection, or a similar workshop position.
• Experience in vehicle road testing, repair quality checks, and identifying technical faults is preferred.

Education

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Languages

• Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
