Job Description

As a Security Guard Access Control Coordinator in Stockton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service while supporting a professional environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Pay Rate: $18.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points for a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, manage visitor and driver entry, and maintain access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Document daily activities, visitor information, incidents, and security-related observations in clear and accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
