Job Description

As a Security Officer Logistics in Brunswick, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and work as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution buildings, loading areas, parking lots, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and driver credentials, and maintain accurate logs of arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
• Report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
