JR Mechanical Engineer

You will join our team as a Junior Mechanical Engineer, operating within the international railway transportation systems market on both Italian and international projects. As part of the Product Engineering Department, you will report to the Mechanical Design Manager and support the design, development, and industrialization of mechanical products and components. You will collaborate with various company functions and contribute to achieving project objectives related to quality, cost, and delivery timelines.

In particular, you will be responsible for the following activities:

• Supporting the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD tools.
• Contributing to the definition of technical solutions in line with product requirements, quality standards, and manufacturability criteria.
• Preparing and updating technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Performing dimensional checks, technical studies, and functional analyses under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Supporting the management and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Assisting with product prototyping, testing, and validation activities.
• Collaborating with Production, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams during industrialization activities.
• Supporting the management of engineering changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assisting in the analysis of non-conformities and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Ensuring compliance with technical standards and company procedures.
