Mid-Level Product Owner

Alongside partners with organizations to drive digital transformation and build high-performing tech teams.

• We are looking for a Mid-Level Product Owner to join a project at a company specializing in financial market operations.

  Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Product Managers and business stakeholders to understand and clarify requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear epics and user stories.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog and sprint priorities.
• Support the development team throughout the Agile delivery process.
• Coordinate releases, testing and bug prioritization.
• Communicate progress, risks and dependencies to stakeholders.
• Challenge requirements and help ensure the team is solving the right business problems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product-focused role.
• Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience gathering and analysing business requirements and translating them into clear epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Hands-on experience with backlog management, prioritization and sprint planning.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with business stakeholders, Product Managers and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge requirements and identify the underlying business need.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate clearly about priorities, progress, risks and dependencies.
• Comfortable supporting development teams throughout the product lifecycle, including refinement, development, testing and release activities.
• Experience coordinating UAT, product testing and bug prioritization is valued.
• Solid knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Technical knowledge or previous exposure to software development, SaaS or cloud-based products is a plus.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
