Integration Consulting Specialist

Summary of the role

You will join Shopping Consulting Services, part of Amadeus Engineering Services, supporting customers across the NECSE and globally, in the successful integration and adoption of Amadeus Shopping and Distribution solutions. Our team works closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Operations to ensure customers realize full value from Amadeus solutions through high-quality integration, structured consulting, and continuous improvement

In this role you will be responsible for:

Pre-Sales & Solution Definition

• Support the Sales organization on integration and consulting topics during customer engagements.
• Contribute to the definition of scope, effort, and approach for integration and consulting services.
• Analyze customer business flows and propose appropriate integration and consulting solutions.
• Deliver integration demonstrations and support solution positioning for Professional Services offerings.

Integration Assistance & Consulting

• Deliver integration consulting services to customers
• Support customers throughout the end-to-end integration lifecycle
• Define and manage integration plans, milestones, and dependencies in alignment with contracted services.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Delivery, Support) to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide structured integration status reporting, KPIs, and customer feedback to management.
• Perform or support final integration sign-off and certification before production deployment.

Post-Integration & Adoption Consulting

• Actively contribute to Professional Services engagements, including billable post-integration consulting services, aimed at improving customer adoption, operational performance, and long-term value realization
• Support customers after go-live to maximize product adoption and operational efficiency.
• Proactively identify usage gaps, risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Help customers get the most value from Amadeus Shopping and Distribution products.
• Contribute to customer success by ensuring outcomes achieved match contracted service objectives.
• Collaborate with Account Management and Sales to identify additional consulting opportunities aligned with customer needs (without direct sales responsibility).

Process & Continuous Improvement

• Contribute to the continuous improvement and automation of consulting and integration processes.
• Capitalize on project experience to improve methodologies, templates, and reusable assets.
• Share best practices and lessons learned within the Shopping Consulting and Professional Services community.

About the ideal candidate:

• Qualifications & Experience - University degree or equivalent qualification. - 2+ years of experience in software development, technical consulting, or system integration. - Experience in customer-facing roles, customer support, or customer management is an advantage. - Knowledge of the travel industry and air shopping solutions is beneficial. - Experience with developer ecosystems, API platforms, or integration tools. - Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Technical Knowledge - Understanding of API technologies and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, authentication, certificate management). - Knowledge of system integration architectures, data flows, and middleware solutions. - Ability to translate technical concepts into business value. - Ability to anticipate and adapt to changes in the API ecosystem, including automation, self-service capabilities, and GenAI-driven solutions.
