Software Development Engineer (Microservices | Spring Boot | REST | Cloud-Native)

As a Java Backend Dev, You will contribute to solution design, application development, testing, and production support while collaborating with product, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

What you’ll do

• Design & build cloud-native, microservices-based solutions using Java and Spring Boot; Quarkus , Skube develop robust REST APIs.
• Own the lifecycle from requirements to design, implementation, testing, and release; champion quality and coding standards.
• Raise the bar on performance, security, reliability, and scalability (observability, resilience patterns, load/perf best practices).
• Partner with product to shape scope, manage timelines, surface risks early, and deliver value iteratively.
• Enable CI/CD and modern DevOps practices to speed up safe, repeatable releases.

What you’ll bring

• 6+ years in Java development, including .
• Strong Java and OOP skills; deep experience with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud and RESTful services.
• Hands-on with cloud-native architecture (CNA), containers (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with API design & integration; familiarity with secure coding and performance tuning.
• Clear communication, problem-solving mindset, and a passion for mentoring.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure (or another major cloud).
• Exposure to DevOps tooling (Jenkins, Git) and agile ways of working.
• Knowledge of both relational and NoSQL databases.
