Industrial procurement is a €900B market in Europe alone and the largest manual market on earth. 95% of customers have no direct access to global supply chains. Materials pass through four or five intermediaries before they reach a site, and 40% of the margin evaporates on the way. For decades, the operating system of this industry was people: people to source, negotiate, finance, ship, and sell.
We built the alternative from scratch. We are the supplier. We buy from global sources and sell to European customers on our own account. Our AI runs the full trade: sourcing, quality, pricing, sales, logistics, credit, and financing. One request. A firm quote in minutes. Delivered on time. For the customer, it feels like buying from their preferred local supplier. No warehouses. No fleet. No inventory risk. Every trade is pre-sold before it is bought.
We are also the credit counterparty. Customers are scored and insured in minutes and get up to 60 days of payment terms priced into the quote itself. The working capital behind every trade is bank-funded, not equity-funded.

Your mission
Our market moves fast, and so do we. As our business continues to scale, we're looking for an ambitious, German-speaking Commercial Recruiter to take ownership of hiring across the DACH region.
You'll be the driving force behind building our commercial powerhouse - attracting and securing exceptional talent across Sales, Account Management and Business Development.
From the initial hiring kick-off to the final signed contract, you'll own the entire recruitment journey. You'll partner closely with business leaders, shape hiring strategies, identify outstanding talent and turn ambitious growth plans into reality.
This isn't just about filling vacancies. It's about building the people, teams and capabilities that will define our next chapter.

What you'll do
Own the full cycle: intake, sourcing, screening, offer, close.
Hunt passive talent via LinkedIn, referrals, events and direct approach.
Interview in German and English and deliver sharp shortlists, fast.
Close: negotiate offers, beat counter-offers, keep candidates warm until day one.
Advise hiring managers on market, salaries and timelines, and push for quick decisions.
Track everything in Ashby and report on pipeline and time-to-hire.

What you bring
Fluent German (C1 or native) and strong English
Experience in recruiting (agency or in-house), ideally commercial or sales roles
Proven direct sourcing and closing skills
Bonus: start-up or scale-up experience, an energy or B2B background, Ashby know-how.
