Andersen is hiring a Go Developer for a global insurance leader. The project involves core product development, integrations, and payment-related processes, driving digital transformation and sustainable solutions.

The project is carried out by several development teams responsible for core product functionality, system integrations, and processes related to payments and payment requests.
Responsibilities:
Building a cutting-edge real-time cross-selling platform.
Taking ownership of the backend that powers multiple user-facing apps, advancing our state-of-the-art gRPC-based microservice architecture.
Actively participating in code reviews to ensure that our platform and codebase meet the highest quality standards.
Taking a proactive role in all aspects of platform design and development, with a strong emphasis on scalability and availability.
Must-haves:
Commercial software development experience for 4+ years, including 2+ years with Go in production.
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong hands-on experience with Golang, including concurrency (goroutines, channels).
Proven experience building and maintaining gRPC-based microservices and REST APIs.
Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, and RabbitMQ or Kafka.
Experience with unit/integration testing and service monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana.
Experience designing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant backend systems.
Strong understanding of resilience, idempotency, and SLA-driven system design.
Extensive experience implementing and integrating AI solutions within engineering teams.
Experience in fintech or banking domains and with complex system integrations.
Strong ownership mindset, active participation in code reviews, and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
Level of English - from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.
Nice to have
Prior experience in insurance other regulated domains.
Familiarity with data privacy/compliance standards (GDPR, PCI DSS).
Understanding of core insurance concepts (policies, underwriting, claims lifecycle).
