Senior Automation Test Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in ETL Testing, ETRM (Energy Trading & Risk Management), Playwright, and TypeScript.
The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing automation frameworks, validating data pipelines, and ensuring the quality of ETRM applications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
- Perform ETL testing, including data validation, data reconciliation, transformation, and end-to-end data flow testing.
- Test ETRM applications/workflows covering trading, risk, pricing, settlements, and related processes.
- Develop and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate data across source, staging, transformation, and target systems using SQL.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report defects with clear technical details.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and test scenarios.
- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and generate test execution reports.
- Review existing automation frameworks and improve test coverage, reliability, and execution time.
Required Skills :
- 6+ years of experience in Software Testing / Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Strong programming experience in TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Solid experience in ETL/Data Testing.
- Good understanding of ETRM / Energy Trading & Risk Management domain.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation.
- Experience with API Testing and automation.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, Jenkins/GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of QA processes, test automation frameworks, and defect management.
Good to Have :
- Experience with Energy/Commodity Trading applications.
- Knowledge of trading lifecycle, P&L, pricing, settlements, and risk management.
- Experience with Azure/AWS or cloud-based testing environments.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to performance or data-quality testing.
