As a Catering Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our catering service, helping to create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for students, staff, and visitors.
Job Description
As a Catering Assistant, you will:
- Assist with the preparation and service of food and beverages.
- Deliver excellent customer service in a busy catering environment.
- Operate tills and handle customer transactions where required.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and service areas.
- Support with food display, replenishment, and presentation.
- Follow Aramark food safety, health and safety, and company procedures at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Assist with general kitchen and catering duties as required.

- Part-time working hours, Monday to Friday, 4:00pm - 6:00pm.

What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous retail or catering experience is preferred but not essential.
- Basic IT skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service.
- Enthusiasm for delivering great customer experiences.
