Job Title: Truck Driver

Location: Oshodi, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations.
• The ideal candidate must have good knowledge of road safety regulations, vehicle maintenance, and route planning, with a strong commitment to timely deliveries and responsible vehicle handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company trucks safely to transport goods to designated locations.
• Ensure timely delivery and collection of goods in line with assigned schedules.
• Maintain accurate trip records, delivery notes, and other relevant documents.
• Ensure goods are properly secured and handled during transit.
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Report mechanical faults, accidents, damages, or other vehicle-related issues promptly.
• Keep the truck clean and ensure proper vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate with the relevant team regarding delivery progress, delays, and route challenges.
• Ensure all assigned goods and company property are handled responsibly.
• Comply with traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of road safety regulations.
• Relevant commercial driving experience.
• Valid driver's license with the appropriate vehicle class for the truck being operated.
• Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience as a truck driver.
• Basic knowledge of truck maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to follow instructions, manage time, and maintain accurate trip records.
• Must be reliable, disciplined, safety-conscious, and physically fit for the demands of the role.
• Good knowledge of Lagos roads and major routes.
• Previous experience transporting goods commercially is an added advantage.

• Basic Gross Salary: ₦100,000 per month.
