Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our payment processing team and help shape products and services across the card issuing and acquiring domains. You will be the link between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams, turning business needs into clear, implementable requirements for card processing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and regulatory requirements for issuing and acquiring processing
• Prepare functional specifications and user stories and keep them up to date
• Work with development, QA, and operations teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Support testing, including preparing test scenarios, UAT, and defect analysis
• Analyze transaction data, reconciliation and settlement processes, and exceptions
• Follow card scheme releases and regulatory changes and assess their impact on the platform
• Support integrations with banks, card schemes, merchants, and third-party providers
• Contribute to improving processes, products, and documentation

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in payments, banking, or fintech
• Knowledge of card payment flows: authorization, clearing, settlement, chargebacks
• Understanding of card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, Dina) and their rules and mandates
• Experience writing business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Familiarity with ISO 8583 and with payment standards such as EMV and 3D Secure
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English and Serbian, written and spoken

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with a card management or processing platform (issuing and/or acquiring)
• Experience with tokenization, mobile wallets, or e-commerce and POS/ATM acquiring
• SQL skills and experience with data analysis and reporting tools
• Experience with fraud management and risk scoring
