DUV Field Service Engineer (Kumamoto)

Your responsibilities will include equipment operation support, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and servicing across a wide range of technologies, including mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and optical systems.

For complex technical issues, you will collaborate with and escalate to higher-level technical support and engineering teams, ensuring that the right expertise is engaged at the right time to maintain our commitments to customers.

Because semiconductor fabs operate around the clock, this role requires 24/7 onsite support through a rotating shift schedule. More than 50% of your working time may be spent inside the cleanroom, where you will perform hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance activities.

You should therefore be comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and be flexible to work 12-hour day/night shifts on a 3-days-on / 3-days-off rotation.

半導体工場は24時間365日稼働しているため、このポジションでは交代制シフトによる24時間365日のオンサイトサポートが求められます。また、勤務時間の50%以上をクリーンルーム内で過ごす可能性があり、実際に装置に触れながらトラブルシューティングやメンテナンス作業を行います。

そのため、クリーンルーム環境での勤務に抵抗がなく、3日勤務・3日休みのローテーションによる12時間の昼夜交代シフトに柔軟に対応できることが求められます。

Main Responsibilities

· Analyze applicability, accuracy, and compliance with design specifications.

· Evaluate and diagnose issues and carry out appropriate repairs.

· Collaborate effectively with colleagues and customers to identify root causes and resolve problems.

· Respond to customer inquiries and provide support in a professional and courteous manner.

· Perform administrative and coordination tasks, including pass-downs, work orders, field service reports, system problem reports, and monthly reports.

· Conduct complex adjustments, upgrades, and troubleshooting with a high degree of independence.

· Take an initiative-taking role in maintaining and improving local SOP/SPS/BKM WOW practices within the Fab Team

Work Experience Level

· More than 2 years of experience as a DUV Field Service Engineer

Language Proficiency

· English communication skills (both verbal and written).

· Ability to speak Mandarin and/or Japanese is a plus but not mandatory.

Additional Information

Our Team is building an integrated DUV and EUV support organization, where engineers will have opportunities to work across both technologies. DUV team members will support EUV systems when needed, and EUV team members will likewise support DUV systems
