IT Support Engineer

About the Role

You will be the first point of contact for employees across the company, ranging from engineers to VPs and C-level executives, so clear and friendly communication matters just as much as technical skill. You will handle everyday hardware and software issues, manage our core SaaS tools, and help keep our IT processes running smoothly.

What You Will Do

• Be the go-to person for employees needing IT help in person, on Slack, and through our ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues.
• Troubleshoot software issues on Windows and macOS.
• Administer and support core SaaS systems: Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, and MDM (device management).
• Manage the employee IT lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, access provisioning, and device handovers.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory and software licenses.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Hands-on experience in IT or technical support.
• Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to communicate clearly and patiently with people of all technical skill levels, from new hires to executives.
• Genuine enjoyment of helping people, including non-technical users.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Understanding of security best practices in IT.

Preferred Experience

• Administration of Jamf
• Administration of Microsoft Intune
• Administration of Google Workspace

AI Experience

• Passion for automating processes using AI is required.
• High-level understanding of how AI works and how to use it to simplify repetitive work.
• Understanding of MCP (Model Context Protocol) concepts.

Language Skills

• Good written and spoken English
• Native or native-level Czech or Slovak
