Axon Enterprise is an American public safety technology company founded in 1993 as TASER International to sell conducted energy weapons to police forces. It has since built a much broader business around body-worn cameras, in-car video, evidence management software and a growing set of artificial intelligence tools that draft reports, redact footage and transcribe interviews, sold to law enforcement, corrections and enterprise security customers as bundled subscriptions. Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona and listed on Nasdaq, the company now earns the majority of its revenue from recurring software and sensor plans rather than hardware sales.

  • Support FCC Universal Licensing System activities and work returned or deficient applications through correction and resolution.
  • Prepare and coordinate FAA Certificates of Waiver or Authorization for our PAO/PSO customers. Prepare other operating waivers (e.g. LAANC grid) for both internal and external stakeholders as required.
  • Conduct site and airspace analysis and develop supporting materials such as CONOPS, safety documentation, detect-and-avoid descriptions, and operational narratives.
  • Work with customers and internal teams to ensure regulatory packages contain accurate site, equipment, operational, and technical information.
  • Engage with FCC and FAA personnel to clarify requirements, address questions, resolve filing issues, and appropriately advance pending actions.
  • Maintain visibility into regulatory actions and proactively communicate risks or dependencies that could affect customer deployment schedules.
  • Develop standardized regulatory workflows, templates, checklists, and quality-control processes that support increasing deployment volume.
  • Serve as a regulatory resource for Professional Services, Sales, Sales Engineering, and other internal teams while staying current on evolving FCC and FAA requirements.
  • Periodically engage with Professional Services and technical teams in the field during customer installations to understand deployment workflows, site conditions, and implementation challenges, ensuring regulatory processes and requirements remain aligned with how supported hardware is deployed in real-world environments.
