We are currently hiring a Senior QA Automation Engineer, Salesforce based in our Home Office.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, Salesforce at BCAA, you’ll take a lead role in designing, developing, and maintaining test automation frameworks that help ensure the quality and reliability of our technology solutions. You’ll bring strong hands-on automation expertise to develop effective test strategies, build automated test scripts, and ensure critical business processes are thoroughly tested.

In this position, you’ll work closely with development teams, business partners, and external vendors to improve testability, identify issues early, and continuously evolve our automated testing practices. You’ll also troubleshoot complex test and production issues, evaluate new testing tools and technologies, and mentor junior team members in automation and QA best practices.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced QA professional who enjoys combining hands-on technical work with leadership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement in a collaborative technology environment.

Who you are:

  • You are an experienced QA automation professional with strong hands-on expertise designing and developing test automation frameworks.
  • You are technically curious and enjoy finding ways to make testing more efficient, reliable, and scalable.
  • You are highly analytical and have strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate complex testing, environment, and production issues.
  • You are proactive and comfortable identifying risks, recommending solutions, and advocating for development practices that improve testability and prevent defects.
  • You are a strong collaborator who can work effectively with developers, business partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • You enjoy sharing your knowledge and mentoring junior team members in automation and QA practices.
  • You are organized, self-motivated, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks that support reliable and efficient automated testing.
  • Analyze business requirements, use cases, and technical architecture to estimate testing effort and develop effective test strategies.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using programming and scripting languages.
  • Execute automated testing across functional, regression, performance, and load testing scenarios.
  • Perform manual testing where automation is not appropriate or cost-effective.
  • Build and maintain automation coverage for common and business-critical workflows.
  • Troubleshoot test environment issues and help maintain reliable automated testing.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot production incidents and support timely resolution.
  • Advocate for development practices that improve testability, prevent defects, and identify quality issues earlier in the development lifecycle.
  • Assess and recommend testing tools and technologies that improve or expand BCAA’s automation capabilities.
  • Work closely with external vendors to ensure system and testing requirements are delivered effectively and on time.
  • Mentor junior team members and share best practices across test automation and quality assurance.
  • Contribute to an excellent user experience by considering both customer and agent perspectives throughout testing.

What you bring:

  • Education in Computer Science or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing test automation frameworks.
  • 2-3 years of application development experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Senior or Lead QA role.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce QA and Salesforce test automation tools such as Provar and Playwright.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL.
  • Experience with CI/CD practices and automation tools such as Copado.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and quality assurance best practices.
  • Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts using programming or scripting languages.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members in test automation and QA practices.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a proactive approach to issues and challenges.
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong collaborator across technical and business teams.

Bonus Skills!

  • Experience implementing Apex unit tests
  • Experience working with MuleSoft.
  • Experience working with AWS or equivalent cloud technologies.
