• Reconcile each store's daily POS sales by tender type (cash, credit cards, digital wallets, e-commerce and delivery platforms) against SAP S/4HANA, bank deposits and payment-provider settlements.
• Review branch reconciliations; identify, quantify and analyze variances by store and tender type; obtain explanations and supporting evidence; and track open items through to closure.
• Ensure sales, receivable and clearing account balances are accurate, fully supported and traceable to source transactions.
• Refer confirmed shortages and suspected irregularities to Investigations, provide complete supporting records, and follow up on outcomes until documented closure.
• Prepare bank reconciliations by matching statements and deposits to SAP S/4HANA; investigate unmatched, delayed or duplicate transactions and bank charges, and ensure timely clearance.
• Reconcile card, cash and suspense balances; resolve aged differences and escalate unresolved items to the Collection & Treasury Manager.
• Prepare and post approved corrective entries and payment reclassifications to the correct GL account, store and period in SAP S/4HANA, supported by reconciliations and required approvals.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting or reconciliations, preferably in multi-branch retail
Fluency in Arabic and English.
Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (FI), GL postings and bank reconciliation.
