Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cloud Solution Architect who will be working onsite in Nanjing, China specializing in Azure Infrastructure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

This role combines deep technical expertise, customer adoption capability, consultative engagement skills, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate is not only capable of designing and delivering enterprise-scale Azure solutions but can also influence customer technical decision-makers, drive Azure adoption, accelerate cloud consumption, and work effectively across multiple Cloud & AI solution areas. As a trusted technical advisor, you will help customers modernize infrastructure, adopt cloud-native technologies, build resilient platforms, and successfully implement Azure-based solutions at scale

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Serve as a trusted advisor for enterprise customers on Azure Infrastructure and Cloud-Native transformation initiatives.
• Engage with customer architects, engineering teams, technical decision-makers, CTOs, and CIOs to define and execute cloud strategies.
• Lead architecture reviews, design workshops, technical assessments, and solution recommendations.
• Influence customer technical decisions through consultative engagements and businessvalue-driven discussions.
• Build strong customer relationships and establish credibility as a technical expert.
• Drive customer success by helping organizations realize measurable outcomes from Azure investments.
• Design and implement enterprise Azure infrastructure solutions.
• Build and optimize Azure Virtual Machines, Networking, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Storage, Backup, and Site Recovery services.
• Design enterprise Landing Zones and governance frameworks.
• Support hybrid and multi-cloud scenarios using Azure Arc.
• Implement Azure governance, monitoring, security, and operational best practices.
• Ensure alignment with Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Design, deploy, migrate, and operate production-grade AKS platforms.
• Lead containerization and cloud-native modernization projects.
• Design AKS networking, identity, security, observability, and governance solutions.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Azure Container Registry (ACR), GitOps, and Service Mesh technologies.
• Troubleshoot complex Kubernetes, networking, storage, performance, and scalability issues.
• Support modern application and AI workloads running on AKS.
• Drive adoption of Azure Infrastructure, AKS, and Cloud & AI platform services.
• Help customers understand the technical and business value of Microsoft cloud solutions.
• Identify opportunities to expand Azure usage and cloud modernization initiatives.
• Deliver technical workshops, architecture sessions, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and enablement activities.
• Promote cloud-native architectures, automation, platform engineering, and modernization best practices.
• Contribute to customer success plans and long-term digital transformation roadmaps.
• Actively help customers increase platform maturity and adoption of recommended technologies.
• Design secure and compliant cloud infrastructure platforms.
• Implement Zero Trust security principles and cloud security best practices.
• Utilize Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Policy, RBAC, Defender for Cloud, and Key Vault.
• Architect highly available and resilient cloud solutions.
• Design disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
• Support mission-critical and enterprise-grade workloads.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
• Promote DevOps and GitOps best practices within customer environments.
• Drive platform standardization and reusable deployment patterns.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of IT industry experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Azure Infrastructure experience.
• 2+ years of AKS/Kubernetes implementation and operations experience.
• Experience delivering enterprise cloud transformation projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers.
