Senior Solutions Architect

Location requirements:

Remote-based role. Open to candidates in the USA across Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern time zones.

About the Role:

BigPanda is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join our Professional Services team. This is a customer-facing, hands-on role focused on helping enterprise customers design, implement, and realize value from the BigPanda platform. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor and architect, guiding customers through AIOps initiatives and helping them modernize incident management and service operations.

This is a role for a builder. You will spend real time in the platform, in the data, and in code - not only in design sessions. You will own engagements end to end, and the quality of what goes live is yours.

BigPanda is an agentic platform, and we expect the people who deliver it to be at least as curious about modern AI tooling as our customers are about ours.

What you will do:

• Own customer engagements from discovery through implementation, adoption, and go-live
• Design and implement BigPanda solutions across workflows, integrations, data design, and production rollouts
• Partner with customer technical stakeholders to translate requirements into solution designs and technical roadmaps
• Build the integrations, transforms, and tooling an implementation needs - including the scripts and automations that exist only because you wrote them
• Troubleshoot implementation risk and resolve complex customer requirements, escalating early when an architecture decision needs a second set of eyes
• Contribute to reusable playbooks, best practices, and architecture patterns, and mentor newer Solutions Architects

What Success looks like:

• First 90 days: You have shipped your first production go-live, and you can navigate a customer’s alert data and configuration without help.
• Six months: You own a portfolio of engagements end to end, and customers ask for you by name.
• One year: At least one thing the team uses every week - a playbook, a pattern, an integration, a tool - exists because you built it.

What skills and experience you’ll bring to BigPanda:

• 5+ years of experience in post-sales technical architecture, consulting, or professional services roles
• Strong knowledge of monitoring, observability, ITSM, and incident response platforms - and of the data underneath them: event and alert schemas, tag and CI modeling, query languages, and API-level integration between systems that were never designed to talk to each other
• Experience delivering enterprise implementations across multiple stakeholder groups
• You write and ship code - Python, Node.js, or similar - as a normal part of delivery: integrations, data transforms, troubleshooting scripts, and the small tools that make an implementation actually work. Expect to walk us through something you have written.
• Strong architecture, whiteboarding, and technical documentation skills across multi-platform environments
• Ability to work effectively with customer stakeholders and connect technical decisions to business outcomes
• Strong consultative communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
• Interest in improving team practices through mentoring, reusable assets, or process development

How you work with AI

BigPanda is an agentic platform, and this role is hands-on with it. We are looking for people who have already made these tools part of how they work.

• You use AI coding and agent tools - Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Copilot, or whatever you have landed on - in your day-to-day work
• You have built something with them, even something small, unfinished, or purely for your own curiosity
• You can talk about what worked, what did not, and what you would do differently
• You try new tools when they show up rather than waiting for them to become standard

Genuinely optional, and not a requirement to apply. If you’ve built something you’re proud of, share it: a GitHub repo, a Claude or ChatGPT project, an automation, a home lab, a write-up, a spreadsheet that got out of hand. It does not need to be polished, in production, or related to our space.

We are more interested in what you were curious about and how you went at it than in the finished product. If your building has all happened inside customer environments you can’t share, tell us about it instead - that counts.

Market competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $170,000 - $200,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
