IT-Sales Executive

Brief & Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive to join our growing business development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT services sales, particularly in web development, ecommerce, and digital marketing solutions, along with the ability to identify new business opportunities, build client relationships, and close deals in international markets. You will be responsible for generating qualified leads, managing the complete sales cycle and working with technical and marketing teams to convert prospects into long-term clients.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Identify, generate and qualify new business leads through platforms like Upwork, LinkedIn, and other B2B lead generation channels.
• Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and initial outreach to proposal writing, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Understand client requirements related to Website Development, Ecommerce Development, Mobile App Development, and Digital Marketing, and translate them into tailored service proposals.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and cost estimates in coordination with the technical/project management team.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with international clients.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and consistently contribute to revenue growth.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client communications in the CRM system.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies (Magento, Shopify, WordPress, MERN Stack, etc.) to effectively position Bliss's services.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align on lead generation campaigns and follow-up strategies.
• Handle client queries and objections professionally, ensuring high client satisfaction throughout the sales process.
• Coordinate with the delivery/project team post-sale to ensure a smooth handover and successful project kickoff.

Skills & Characteristics

• 1-2 years of experience in IT/software services sales, preferably in web development, ecommerce, or digital marketing services.
• Basic understanding of the IT services industry, including web technologies, ecommerce platforms and digital marketing concepts.
• Exposure to international clients or bidding platforms such as Upwork.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with fluency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to grasp technical requirements and translate them into clear, client-friendly proposals.
• Strong lead generation and prospecting skills through cold calling, email outreach, and social selling (LinkedIn).
• Goal-oriented mindset with eagerness to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Working knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office/Google Workspace for reporting and documentation.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients across different time zones and cultures.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science or related field
