About the role

You will own new-logo sales intoBanks, NBFCs, Insurers and Fintechs for Bolna's Voice AI products: voice agents, workflows and analytics.

This is a hunter role. You will find the accounts, build the relationships, create the pipeline and see deals through a long BFSI sales cycle, working directly with the Lead, GTM & Sales. It suits someone who has sold software to BFSI buyers, enjoys early-stage ambiguity and wants high ownership.

Key responsibilities :

The core of the role is finding new BFSI accounts and turning them into a steady, qualified pipeline.

• Account scouting: identify and prioritise new BFSI accounts (banks, NBFCs, insurers, fintechs) and map the right decision-makers

• Pipeline creation: build a lead pipeline from scratch through networking, cold outreach, referrals and industry events

• Relationship building: develop and nurture client relationships through consistent engagement, meetings and follow-ups across a long sales cycle

• Lead follow-up: qualify inbound and outbound leads and follow up persistently so no opportunity goes cold

• Full-cycle selling: understand client requirements in depth, run product demos of Bolna's voice agents, workflows and analytics, negotiate pricing and close deals

• Internal collaboration: work with Business, Product and Marketing teams to understand the product deeply, pass client feedback and requirements back, and plan events that showcase Bolna's solutions

• Market research: track BFSI trends, new categories and product gaps, and monitor competitors' solutions, strategy and pricing

Requirements :

Candidates must have 2-3 years of B2B sales experience in SaaS or Voice AI, with BFSI clients as their core market.

• 2-3 years of experience selling B2B SaaS or Voice AI products to BFSI clients (banks, NBFCs, insurance, fintech)

• Proven track record of sourcing new accounts and building pipeline, not only managing existing ones

• Hands-on experience across the sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos, pricing negotiation and closure

• Ability to understand client requirements and deliver clear, credible product demos

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Skill at building and sustaining relationships through a long, multi-stakeholder BFSI sales cycle

• Demonstrated high ownership in previous roles

• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment

Good to have

• Prior startup experience

• Existing network among BFSI decision-makers (CXOs, heads of operations, collections, customer experience, digital or contact centre)
