About the role:

This role operates within the company’s Global Business Services organization to provide high quality accountancy expertise and services to various client businesses within Boston Scientific Corporation. This role performs a variety of medium to complex duties in fixed assets such as analyzing accounts, booking necessary journal entries, internal reporting, performing the monthly financial close, monitoring SOX/internal control requirements, and support audits. This role measures performance against key performance indicators and metrics and continually identifies ways to improve and streamline processes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering.
• 1 to 2 years relevant experience
• English level: 80% or above.
• Fixed Asset Experience a plus
• SAP experience a plus
• Open to working across global time zones
• Strong communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to work independently

• Inquisitive and takes an active interest in opportunities to improve the efficiency of work

• Experience working in shared service environment a plus

Key Responsibilities include:

• Performs fixed asset processes and acts as liaison with several supported sites
• Compiles and analyzes Fixed Asset information through preparation of reports and general ledger journal entries.
• Assures financial accuracy for all supported sites and supports all legal entity closings on a monthly basis
• Takes an active interest in seeking opportunities for continuous improvement, standardizing processes across multiple legal entities.
• Establishes and communicates accounting processes by maintaining a thorough understanding of SOX controls, GAAP, and new accounting guidance as appropriate.
• Works to deliver upon key performance metrics and service levels agreed with business partners and management.
