2D Artist

Role Overview :

We are looking for a creative and skilled 2D Game Artist with AI expertise who can create high-quality Game UI, 2D game assets, characters, environments, backgrounds, icons, buttons, popups, and promotional artwork using both traditional design tools and modern AI assisted workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design complete 2D Game UI/UX including game UI concepts, artwork, and multiple visual directions.

- Create and refine AI-generated game artwork into production-ready assets.

- Create characters, props, backgrounds, environments, icons, and game objects.

- Generate multiple design variations while maintaining gameplay structure and UI layout.

- Maintain consistent visual style, color palette, typography, lighting, materials, and UI language.

- Separate artwork into individual transparent PNGs and layers for development.

- Retouch, clean, upscale, and modify AI-generated artwork using Photoshop or other design tools.

- Collaborate with Game Designers, Developers, Animators, and UI/UX Designers.

- Prepare optimized assets for Unity, mobile, and HTML5 games.

AI Skills :

- Practical experience with AI-assisted Game Art and UI workflows.

- Preferred AI Tools : ChatGPT, Midjourney, Freepik, Gemini, and other AI image-generation tools.

- Ability to write effective AI prompts, maintain visual consistency, and refine AI-generated artwork manually.

Required Skills :

- Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Figma.

- Strong understanding of 2D Game UI/UX, Sketch, Anatomy, Color Theory, Typography, Composition, Lighting, and Visual Hierarchy.

Qualifications :

- 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in 2D Game Art / Game UI / Game Design.

- Degree/Diploma in Fine Arts or related field is preferred.

- Strong portfolio demonstrating Game UI, 2D Game Art, and AI-assisted artwork.
