Key purpose of the Job
The Assistant Manager - Human Resources oversees employee relations and personnel management across the SBU, drives and implements the Works HR strategy across geographies, ensures statutory compliance, manages engagement with labor and government authorities, and adheres to organizational Health & Safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the SBU Works HR strategy aligned with business and Group plans.
- Ensure effective and consistent HR implementation in the plant.
- Oversee statutory compliance and rollout of Group HR initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement, welfare, retention, and grievance management.
- Manage Works HR operations and teams, including manpower planning and payroll coordination.
Education
Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management
Experience
At least 5+ years of experience in leading the Works HR function in a large plant is mandatory.
