We are currently recruiting an AP Accountant for a global company in the energy and industrial sector with operations in multiple countries and a strong commitment to operational excellence and compliance.

Job Description:

As an AP Accountant, you will be part of the global Finance team, reporting to the Global AP Process Owner and working closely with General Ledger Accounting and Finance Management. In this role, your core focus will be on the accurate and timely processing of Accounts Payable transactions and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate booking of Accounts Payable (AP) invoices in SAP in accordance with internal controls and policies.
• Prepare and review payment proposals to facilitate on-time vendor payments.
• Reconcile GR/IR accounts and vendor statements to maintain accurate financial records.
• Monitor AP aging reports and provide relevant explanations as required.
• Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
• Support the monthly close process by assisting with AP cut-off and documentation.
• Run ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested by corporate, tax, or treasury functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related accounting role is an advantage
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication (English) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
