Software Development Engineer - Test II

Role Overview :

As an SDET II, you will build and scale robust test automation frameworks for our AI-driven warehouse automation, robotics, and supply chain solutions. You will partner closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to design high-impact test strategies, execute automated workflows, and raise the bar for software reliability and performance across our platform.

Responsibilities :

- Framework Development : Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and test suites using Python and Pytest.

- Test Strategy and Execution : Create comprehensive test plans, execute manual/automated tests, analyze execution results, and track defects to resolution.

- Developer Collaboration : Partner with software developers to understand core feature architecture, conduct code reviews, and drive shift-left testing.

- CI/CD Integration : Embed automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable, and continuous quality checks.

- Quality and Process Improvement : Identify bottlenecks in the testing lifecycle and continuously optimize testing methodologies and coverage.

- Mentorship and Governance : Provide technical guidance and best-practice mentorship to junior QA engineers.

Requirements :

- Experience : 3 - 6 Years.

- Mandatory Stack : Strong programming expertise in Python with hands-on experience using Pytest.

- Test Automation : Solid experience architecting test automation frameworks across UI, API, and microservices (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or requests).

- CI/CD and DevOps : Familiarity with modern CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and pipeline automation.

- Data and Backend : Experience writing SQL queries for database validation and backend verification.

- Core QA Expertise : Deep understanding of software testing methodologies (unit, integration, regression, end-to-end, black-box, and white-box testing).

- Methodologies : Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.

- Soft Skills : Excellent analytical, root-cause troubleshooting, and cross-functional communication skills.

- Education : Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Prior exposure to performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).

- Experience testing complex distributed systems, IoT, robotics, or supply chain execution software.
