Position Summary
The Senior Compliance Specialist assists the Compliance Manager in monitoring Turkish regulatory requirements, conducting reviews, and ensuring adherence to internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct ongoing AML scenario reviews and sanctions-related checks in line with regulatory requirements
Obtain, manage, and maintain access/permissions for compliance data sources and reporting tools
Generate and maintain compliance reports and data sets required by the compliance team and regulators
Monitor Turkish regulatory updates and assess compliance impact on existing workflows
Support internal and external audits with data, documentation, and analysis
Maintain compliance registers, records, and case files
Collaborate with the Compliance Manager on regulatory filings and ad hoc reviews
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in compliance, ideally in fintech, financial services, or crypto.
Strong attention to detail and data analysis skills - proficiency in Excel, SQL, or compliance/AML tooling (e.g., Chainalysis, Elliptic, or similar)
Ability to interpret and apply Turkish regulatory guidance.
Strong written and verbal communication (Turkish and English).
