Retail Operations Associate

Purpose of Position

We are seeking a candidate with 2 to 3 years of experience to support overall store operations and manage the efficient flow of inventory. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing daily store functions, managing stock levels, and coordinating closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure seamless retail operations. 

Job Description

Store Operations

• Support daily operations for CASETiFY stores across Korea and follow up on store requests and operational issues.
• Prepare stores for new product launches, promotions, pop-ups, and new store openings.
• Manage regular operational tasks such as weekly packages, store information updates, promotion setup/testing, and store supplies.
• Support store openings, relocations, renovations, and closures with internal teams and external partners.

Inventory & Logistics

• Monitor store inventory and sales trends and manage replenishment and stock allocation.
• Coordinate new product arrivals, store allocation, stock transfers, and redistribution between stores.
• Work with Demand Planning, warehouses, and 3PL partners to manage inbound/outbound shipments, customs clearance, and delivery schedules.
• Support regular and ad-hoc stock counts and maintain inventory accuracy using RFID and other inventory systems.
• Support stock clearance and inventory actions based on product lifecycle.

Store Systems & Equipment

• Support the setup and daily operation of store systems and equipment, including POS, MPS, RFID, printers, iPads, and other devices.
• Manage system accounts and required system updates for new and existing stores.
• Work with IT, Production, and external vendors to troubleshoot system or equipment issues and follow up until they are resolved.
• Coordinate the purchase, replacement, and setup of store equipment and devices.

Store Maintenance & Facilities

• Manage day-to-day store maintenance issues, including fixtures, lighting, electrical issues, signage, furniture, and other store facilities.
• Coordinate with store teams, department stores/landlords, contractors, and vendors to resolve maintenance issues.
• Track ongoing maintenance requests and prioritize urgent issues that may affect store operations or customer experience.
• Identify recurring issues and work with relevant teams on longer-term solutions.

Operational Administration & Coordination

• Maintain accurate operational data and documents related to stores, inventory, systems, and vendors.
• Support Finance-related operational tasks such as invoices, tax documents, and vendor administration.
• Work closely with Retail, Demand Planning, Logistics, IT, Production, Finance, VM, and Marketing teams to support daily retail operations and projects.
• Communicate with department stores, warehouses, logistics providers, maintenance vendors, and other external partners to ensure smooth execution and timely issue resolution.

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Retail, E-commerce, FMCG, or Fashion/Lifestyle industries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (skilled in using functions, pivot tables, and data manipulation/analysis).
• Strong data-driven analytical mindset with the ability to determine inventory allocation using sell-through data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (Retail, IT, Marketing, etc.) and various external partners (3PL, warehouse personnel, department stores, and vendors).
