CEDA is currently seeking Drivers, Class 1 or 3 at our Dawson Creek, BC location! Working on a call out basis, our dispatch group will keep you busy!

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operation and maintenance of Pressure Trucks, Hydrovacs, Combo Units, other assorted Vacuum Trucks, and various specialty tools - work alongside Labourers you will spend 90% of your day outside of the truck, boots on the ground!
- Complete minor maintenance and checks on equipment
- Ensure safety for all team members and property
- Provide quality services to our clients
- Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
- Leave the job site in better condition that when we got there. Clean, safe and job done
- Haul hoses, PPE and tools to where the work is being done
- Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
- Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time
Role Specifications:
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 license with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
- Driving is in your nature, a manual transmission is a breeze (10, 13 speed, doesn’t matter you will pass CEDA’s driver assessment with flying colours)
- Prior experience driving a Pressure or Vacuum Trucks is an asset
- 1+ years of operator experience in an industrial environment
- First Aid, H2S Alive and CSO certification would be an asset
- Confined Space and Fall Protection certification an asset but not required, we will train you!
- Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Skills:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and very good with a manual transmission
- You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
- Enjoyment for physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis)
