We are looking for a skilled Node.js Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to building high-performance, reliable, and scalable systems that power thousands of restaurants worldwide, working with a modern tech stack alongside a professional, product-driven team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js.
• Work with MongoDB and Redis to ensure efficient data storage, indexing, and caching.
• Build and manage containerized applications with Docker and deploy them in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver seamless product features.
• Ensure system performance, security, and reliability across all backend services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices.
• Leverage modern AI-powered development tools and coding assistants to boost productivity, code quality, and delivery speed.

• 3-5 years of commercial experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB (data modeling, performance optimization) and Redis (caching, message queues).
• Practical knowledge of Docker and experience with GCP (or other major cloud providers).
• Solid understanding of system architecture, REST APIs, microservices, and design patterns.
• Practical experience using AI-powered coding tools and agents (OpenAI Codex, Claude, etc.) to generate, refactor, debug, and review production-quality code.
• Proactive communicator who thrives in a collaborative, remote-first environment.
• Plus: Knowledge of Kubernetes or CI/CD pipelines is a significant advantage.
