Position Overview

Cintel is seeking an experienced Developer(Mid)with strong expertise in Power BI, data analysis, and business intelligence solutions. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines, ETL processes, and BI dashboards to deliver actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in data warehousing and reporting concepts, along with proven experience implementing business intelligence and big data solutions to support mission-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL mappingsto extract, transform, and load data between systems.
• Conduct performance tuningof ETL processes to ensure efficient data processing.
• Develop Business Intelligence (BI) reports and dashboardsusing BI tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Perform unit testingand validation of BI reports and data transformations.
• Write and optimize complex SQL statements, stored procedures, scripts, triggers, and views.
• Analyze data and implement aggregation, transformation, and visualizationstrategies.
• Apply best practices in data warehousing, reporting platforms, and business intelligencesolutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective BI dashboards and reports.
• Support multiple phases of the Development Life Cycle (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment).
• Develop and maintain system documentationto support the development lifecycle.
• Recommend solutions and improvements to drive BI and data management best practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experiencein software development, business intelligence, or data engineering.
• Proficiency with Power BI, data analysis, data aggregation, and data visualization.
• Strong experience in ETL processesand data transformation methodologies.
• Proficiency in SQL and database technologies (queries, stored procedures, triggers, views).
• Solid foundation in data warehousing conceptsand reporting platforms.
• Familiarity with big data technologiesand multiple BI environments is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work across full software development lifecycle phases.
• Experience with: Java, C, C#, .NET, Spring Boot, Angular, REST APIs, backend, React, Microservices, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, AWS, Postgres, Spark / Scala, SQL / PLSQL, NiFi, Informatica, Linux, data pipelines (development, optimization, & tuning) Bash; cloud resources and Infrastructure-as-Code tools, including Terraform or Vault; Kubernetes; DNS, load balancing, and TLS
• Must hold an active Top Secret clearance.
