Solutions Engineer - Public Sector

関西・中四国のお客様を広くカバーしてビジネスを拡大するために活動する プリセールス SE チームです。

担当するエリアは官公庁、大学、病院などの公共を中心としたお客様全般となります。

＜職務内容＞

営業部門と協力しながら、本社開発部門・サービス部門・技術サポート部門との協業を推進し、技術面からビジネスに貢献します。

SEとして、担当するお客様、パートナー様と信頼関係を構築し、シスコの幅広い製品・ソリューション・サービスの提案を通してお客様の課題解決およびビジネス拡大に貢献するため以下のような技術営業活動を行います。

・お客様への直接およびパートナーを介した間接アプローチによる販売促進活動

・ビジネス戦略の立案・実行

・お客様の課題や技術要件の整理

・最適なシスコソリューションの検討と提案

・競合他社との差別化提案

・プレゼンテーションの資料作成およびプレゼンテーション

・実機デモおよびラボ検証作業の実施と報告

・商談に対して米国本社や他部門との協業

・技術的な問い合わせ対応および導入支援

・お客様・パートナーとの関係構築・維持

・パートナーとのソリューション検討・開発、技術支援

・担当技術領域は主にEnterprise Network,Securityを中心にカバー

＜求められる能力＞

・ソリューションエンジニア、システムエンジニア、プリセールスエンジニア、ネットワークエンジニア等としての5年以上の実務経験

・公共ビジネスを中心とした案件進捗管理の経験を有する方

・スピード感を持って、情熱的に仕事に取り組める方

[The Business Entity]

West Japan SE team is looking for a high-caliber Solutions Engineer to cover Public Sector segment, including the Local Government, Education Bureau and hospitals.

Our high-touch pre-sales SE team for the West Japan account maximizes customer business value by delivering technical excellence and Cisco solutions. We address customer requirements through close collaboration with the sales team, business units, services, and other cross-functional teams.

[Role & Responsibilities]

A customer-focused technical sales professional who provides technical expertise and design/implementation guidance across the entire Cisco product portfolio.

As an SE, you take an architectural approach to demonstrate how Cisco solutions solve business challenges, while maintaining strong relationships with the customer's technical staff, aligned with their business goals.

・Define customer business problem in a technical context

・Take the lead on moving deals through the sales process by knowing how and when to engage the appropriate Cisco and partner tools and resources

・Refine and research technical requirements of the opportunity

・Define solution options and articulate the benefits of a Cisco solution

・Lead research of potential competitive offerings for the proposed solution

・Lead and develop PoC, leveraging resources such as demo labs, including presentation and documentation of test results

・Develop customer presentation materials

・Lead presentation of Cisco solutions to customer, including white-boarding and presentation of technical material

[Desired Skills]

• Growth mindset and a proactive approach to new challenges.

• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Engineer/ System Engineer/ Pre-sales Engineer/ Network Engineer etc.

• Customer-centric mindset with a proactive approach to solution proposals, with strong business communication skills.

• Strong collaboration and project management capabilities.

• Proven ability to work effectively and lead cross-functional teams.

• Language Requirements: Fluent in Japanese and basic proficiency in English.

• Programming or scripting skills are a plus.
