Acquisition and Development Senior Analyst (Data Centres)

Our client is seeking an Acquisition and Development Senior Analyst (Data Centres) to be responsible for the identification and development of business opportunities, facilitating the expansion of their real estate portfolio in the APAC region. This role will play a key part in conducting market intelligence research and assessing investment opportunities, with a focus on data centre development.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform market intelligence research on prospective clients, strategic partners, competitors, and the industry to identify potential business opportunities for portfolio expansion in data centres.
• Conduct market analyses (i.e. tracking of market trends) to facilitate investment decisions of various asset classes in APAC with a focus on data centres.
• Possess APAC real estate knowledge in the infrastructure development process, regulatory landscape and financing facilities, ideally in data centres.
• Draft and present business proposals and marketing materials and seek final approval from senior management.
• Assist in negotiations with government agencies, partners, financial institutions, and other stakeholders for data centre projects.
• Establish and foster relationships with government agencies and business partners within the data centre sector for future collaboration opportunities.
• Collaborate with HQ and other APAC offices.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or Marketing.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate business development, ideally with exposure to data centre development.
• Strong business acumen, communication and analytical skills.
• Able to secure profitable business opportunities and expand real estate portfolio for data centres.
• Possess knowledge on regional government and statutory authorities’ regulations and submission/approval processes for data centres.
