Utilities Engineer

We are seeking a Utilities Engineer to handle the planning, coordination, and execution of utility diversion works for large-scale underground infrastructure developments. This role involves overseeing utility routes, associated structures, and ensuring works are carried out to meet project requirements and timelines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and support all utility works for amajor underground construction project including scope, schedule and costs.
• Work closely with the utilities team to coordinate therelocation of utilities, diversion routes & obtaining approvals from PUB, LTA, NEA etc.
• Conduct site assessments to identify existing utilities and manage alldiversion activities on-site and associated support structures.
• Work closely with authorised subcontractors to carry out utility diversion tasks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues, while ensuring preventive maintenance measures are implemented.
• Track and analyse utility system performance, including efficiency, energy, and material usage.
• Oversee utility-related construction works from scope definition through to budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
• Support the team to provide regular updates to the Utility Manager, highlighting progress and recommending solutions for potential project challenges.

Job Requirements:

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
• Certification as Registered Earthwork Supervisor with EMA/SPPG and possession of BCSS certificate will be advantageous
• Willing to work alternate 5.5days or 6 Day work week, 8am-6pm.
