Global Change Management Lead, Wealth Operations (AI Transformation)

The Global Change Management Lead, Wealth Operations (AI Transformation) is a senior C15 Director-level global leadership position responsible for spearheading the strategic design, governance, and execution of AI-driven operational transformation across Global Wealth Operations.

The primary mandate of this role is to lead Strategic Global AI Platform Implementations -a board-level priority. This role will drive the transition from traditional operational models to AI-native, GenAI-augmented workforce structures across multiple global jurisdictions (including key hubs in APAC, EMEA, and the Americas).

Based in Singapore, Citi’s strategic global hub for AI and wealth management, the incumbent will navigate complex multi-jurisdictional regulatory landscapes, establish robust global AI governance and model risk frameworks, and manage senior stakeholder relationships globally across Business, Technology, Risk, and Operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Global AI Transformation & Strategic Delivery (40%)

• Lead Strategic Global AI Platform Implementations: Own the end-to-end global deployment strategy, model development roadmap, and change management pathway for wealth platforms.
• Global Operating Model Redesign: Architect and execute the transition to AI-first operational models globally, integrating GenAI-powered client servicing, intelligent automation, and predictive analytics into daily wealth operations.
• Cross-Functional Global Coordination: Direct and align cross-functional teams spanning AI/ML engineering, data science, digital product management, risk, and business execution across global wealth hubs.
• Execution Velocity Management: Drive agile delivery cycles globally, minimizing implementation latency and ensuring on-time delivery of board-level AI milestones.

2. Global AI Governance, Risk & Regulatory Navigation (30%)

• Governance Approval Pathway Ownership: Lead the governance engagement strategy for AI deployment across global jurisdictions, securing approvals and navigating diverse approval frameworks.
• Establish Global AI Governance Frameworks: Design and implement robust global AI ethics policies, model risk management protocols, and algorithmic accountability standards in alignment with enterprise standards.
• Control-Conscious Change Design: Partner with Global Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to conduct AI risk assessments, bias testing, and fairness evaluations, mitigating downstream regulatory or operational exposure.
• Audit & Examination Readiness: Serve as the primary global lead for internal audits and regulatory examinations concerning Wealth Operations AI transformation.

3. Global Stakeholder Management & Influence (20%)

• Stakeholder Engagement: Manage critical relationships and build consensus with senior leaders globally across the COO Office, Digital Transformation, Business Execution, and Risk & Control.
• Global Governance Representation: Represent Wealth Operations in enterprise-wide AI governance forums, steering committees, and strategic planning sessions.
• Conflict Resolution & Escalation: Serve as the primary escalation point for global transformation friction, resolving cross-functional dependencies and accelerating decision-making.

4. Capability Building & Knowledge Transfer (10%)

• Establish Global AI Execution Excellence: Build a sustainable global AI capability enablement - documenting frameworks, playbooks, and change management best practices.
• Local Talent Mentorship: Directly mentor and develop local Singapore-based team members, grooming the next generation of global AI transformation leaders.
• AI Culture & Reskilling: Drive global training and capability-building initiatives to prepare the Wealth Operations workforce for AI-augmented operational models.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or MBA in Business, Technology, or a related field preferred. Specialized certifications in AI Governance, Data Science, or Agile Project Management are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive leadership experience in financial services change management, digital transformation, or technology operations.
• AI/ML Expertise: Proven track record of leading large-scale AI, GenAI, or machine learning implementation programmes in a highly regulated global financial services environment.
• Leadership Capability: Proven experience operating at a C15 Director level (or equivalent), with a track record of managing cross-functional, multi-jurisdictional teams and influencing global senior stakeholders.
• Communication: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to translate complex AI/technical concepts into strategic business outcomes.
