Classy Llama is the replatform agency for manufacturers, distributors, and complex retail. Platform-agnostic teams that migrate, integrate, and optimize - without bias.

Project Manager III

Company Overview

Classy Llama is a digital consultancy founded in 2007 with the Mission to love others through business and a Vision to deliver inspiration, insights, and digital transformation services that offer rock-solid solutions to industrial B2B companies in verticals like automotive, manufacturing, parts, materials, and customizable products. We only succeed when we help our clients succeed. Our primary focus is on investing in hiring, developing, and growing our people.

Position Overview

As a Project Manager III at Classy Llama, you will be a strategic leader in our project management function. You will manage the agency’s largest and most complex e-commerce projects, drive revenue growth, and help develop the agency’s project management capabilities.

Your communication skills will be vital in maintaining regular contact with clients, helping them develop their project roadmaps, and providing strategic guidance. Your role goes beyond task management: you will be expected to provide thought leadership when needed.

You are not expected to “do it all” or “know it all.” Your team will partner with you to meet client success factors and secure wins. You are not alone.

  • Develop and implement project management best practices, processes, and standards across the agency
  • Define and manage project scope, budget, and resource plans for the agency’s largest and most complex e-commerce engagements
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, coordinating people, vendors, and resources to keep engagements on schedule and on budget
  • Monitor project progress against timelines and budget, and communicate status updates to stakeholders on a regular cadence
  • Identify, document, and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage scope and change control, making sure change orders are documented and reflected in the project timeline and budget
  • Ensure project deliverables meet client requirements and quality standards before handoff
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell agency services
  • Develop and mentor project management staff, including coaching junior project managers
  • Prepare and present project status reports, timelines, and budgets to clients and agency leadership

  • Experience managing project budgets, scope, and change control
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
