About the Role
This is the first engineering hire at an early-stage B2B SaaS company building AI-powered automation for distributors and manufacturers. You will own problems end to end, from talking directly with customers to designing, building, and shipping the features that solve them. Your work will immediately impact customers running large-scale industrial operations.
What You'll Do
Talk to customers, understand their workflows, and translate their problems into product decisions.
Build and ship customer-facing features, AI agents, integrations, and infrastructure across the full stack.
Improve evals, tests, and tooling to make each new customer implementation faster and more reliable.
Ship your first feature to a live customer within your first week.
Own a meaningful surface area of the product end to end within your first quarter.
What We're Looking For
Full-stack development experience building and shipping production web applications with TypeScript, Next.js, and Python.
Demonstrated experience building production-ready AI agents, including context engineering, tool design, and evaluation frameworks.
Experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform.
Experience integrating with legacy systems, APIs, and third-party software platforms, including enterprise or ERP systems.
Ability to conduct customer discovery, gather requirements, and turn business problems into technical solutions.
Experience building and maintaining automated testing, evaluation frameworks, and observability tooling for production systems.
Comfort using bleeding-edge AI tools while applying independent engineering judgment.
Proven ability to ship quickly without lowering the quality bar, ideally in early-stage startup environments.
Preference for owning whole problems rather than working from a narrowly defined backlog.
Familiarity with LLM frameworks, prompt engineering, or AI agent orchestration tools is a plus.
Background in B2B operations automation, manufacturing workflows, or distribution is a plus.
